Borrowed from the Latin for "darkness," Nymphea Nox is Commune's enveloping evening fragrance — a deep, floral composition designed to evoke quiet contemplation, rest, and renewal as the day closes. Part of the dual Nymphea collection, it pairs with Nymphea Lux (the radiant daytime profile) around a shared heart note of Water Lily, creating a seamless sensorial journey from morning into night. The candle is poured from a paraffin-free blend of natural soy wax and beeswax — a cleaner-burning alternative to petroleum-derived paraffin — housed in a recyclable and reusable aluminium vessel. This set includes Commune's bespoke Marquina Marble cover, designed to protect the wax when not in use and to extinguish the flame safely and elegantly. Made in the UK.
How To Use
Before each burn, ensure the wax has fully solidified and trim the wick to 5mm. Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool completely before moving the candle. The aluminium vessel will heat significantly during use — place on a candle plate to protect surfaces. Use the marble cover to snuff the flame safely. Never burn unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
