Details

For those who talk a big game — and back it up. Namedrops is The Raconteur's wildcard: a molecular fragrance enhancer that works two ways. Worn alone, it is a deceptively quiet, skin-close woody-spicy that opens with the clean, musky radiance of Iso E Super before warming up to reveal native Australian pepper, a quietly complex spice accord, and a soft base of sandalwood and vanilla. Wear it layered over any other fragrance and it does something altogether different — amplifying projection, extending longevity, and adding an invisible shimmer of freshness and radiance to whatever it touches. Think of it as a coat of armour for your scent wardrobe: it makes every fragrance perform better, without competing with or changing the character of what's underneath. Truly unlike anything else in The Raconteur collection, and unlike almost anything else in fragrance full stop. Lasts 6–10 hours on skin. Gender-transcendent. Handmade in Australia.

How To Use

Alone: Apply 2–3 sprays to warm pulse points — wrists, neck, or inner elbows. Allow 5–10 minutes for the Iso E Super to settle and the native pepper and spice notes to emerge. The scent is intentionally understated on first contact and deepens as it warms on skin.

Layered: Spray Namedrops directly over or under any other fragrance to instantly boost its projection, sillage, and longevity. It works with any scent — from The Raconteur's own collection or beyond — adding radiance and freshness without altering the character of the original fragrance. Experiment with ratios: start with one spray of Namedrops to two or three of your base scent.

Key Ingredients

  • Iso E Super — The heart and soul of Namedrops. A celebrated synthetic molecule with a clean, woody-cedar-amber character and a unique ability to amplify the projection and longevity of other fragrances when layered. On its own skin it produces a subtly radiant, almost skin-like quality that is quietly addictive and impossible to pin down — which is exactly what makes it so compelling.
  • Australian Native Pepper — A distinctly Australian botanical note described by Lore Perfumery as reminiscent of a blend of juniper, ginger, and Sichuan pepper: sharp, bright, and aromatic. Adds an enlivening green spice to the heart as the fragrance warms on skin, grounding the molecular opening in something genuinely botanical and Australian.
  • Mixed Spices — A warm, aromatic spice accord that develops alongside the native pepper in the heart, adding subtle complexity and depth without ever becoming heavy or identifiable as any single spice.
  • Sandalwood — A warm, milky woody base note that gives Namedrops its smooth, skin-close finish and the comfortable, wearable character that makes it so effective as both a standalone and a layering tool.
  • Vanilla — A soft, barely-there sweetness in the base that rounds the drier woody and spice notes, adding just enough warmth to make the composition feel inviting and polished on skin.
