Details

The quietest and most meditative scent in The Raconteur's Australian Gourmand Collection — a fragrance not for noise, but for stillness. Inspired by the Daintree, the world's oldest living rainforest in Far North Queensland, it captures the exact sensory moment of rain hitting ancient leaves: the earthy, mineral exhale of the forest floor, the clean bitterness of black tea, the cooling mineral edge of sea salt, and the sacred serenity of blue lotus and chamomile. Native buddawood anchors the heart with warm, deep-rooted Australian earthiness, while vetiver and bergamot add structure and luminosity to the dry-down. A calming, grounding fragrance for those who find clarity in nature and solitude. Gender-transcendent. Handmade in Australia.

How To Use

Apply 2–3 sprays to warm pulse points — wrists, neck, or behind the ears. Allow a few minutes for the opening bergamot brightness to settle and give way to the tea, chamomile, and rainforest heart. Best appreciated up close, on warm skin, where the deeper buddawood and vetiver base develops its full meditative character. Wear for quiet mornings, slow weekends, or any moment that calls for calm.

Key Ingredients

  • Black Tea — The aromatic backbone of the fragrance, evoking the deep, slightly bitter warmth of steeped leaves and lending an earthy refinement that anchors the composition from the heart through to the base.
  • Australian Native Buddawood — A rare native Australian botanical with a rich, warm, woody-cedar character unique to the country's red earth. Adds depth, groundedness, and a distinctly Australian sensibility to the dry-down.
  • Blue Lotus — A sacred and meditative floral note prized across many cultures for its calming, almost hypnotic quality. Adds a soft, aquatic-floral luminosity that lifts the heavier notes without disturbing the sense of stillness.
  • Chamomile — A gentle, honey-kissed herbal note that soothes and softens, reinforcing the meditative mood and adding an almost tea-like warmth to the heart of the fragrance.
  • Bergamot — A bright, slightly citrus-green opening note that provides clarity and freshness before giving way to the deeper forest accords beneath.
  • Sea Salt — A mineral, coastal accent that evokes the feeling of air before rain — clean, cool, and alive — threading a thread of the tropics through the composition.
  • Vetiver — An earthy, smoky root note that grounds the fragrance in the earth itself, extending the dry-down and adding complexity and longevity.
  • Rainforest Leaves — A green, atmospheric accord evoking the lush, living canopy of the Daintree — wet, wild, and ancient.
