Inspired by the Barossa Valley, South Australia's oldest wine region and home to some of the country's most striking Lutheran stone churches, Religious Guilt Spritz is Craig Andrade's most spiritually ambitious creation: a woody-aromatic built from the most sacred oils on earth, transported to an Australian landscape where stone steeples rise above ancient vines and whispered confessions carry on the warm, incense-laden air. The opening is unmistakably church — a bright, sharp frankincense mingled with the sweet spice of cassia and the dark, resinous depth of myrrh, carrying instantly to somewhere ancient and reverent. Palo santo adds a cleansing, woody-medicinal quality as the composition develops, while native Australian buddawood and sandalwood ground it in something distinctly of this land. Cedarwood, cypress, juniper, and Turkish rose round out the base with a cool, balsamic freshness that liberates as much as it contemplates. Big, ancient, and utterly unlike anything else. How To Use

Apply 2–3 sprays to warm pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows, or the chest. Religious Guilt Spritz has significant presence: the incense-forward opening is intentionally immediate and immersive, softening over 15–20 minutes as the palo santo, buddawood, and sandalwood warm on skin. The Turkish rose emerges subtly in the dry-down, adding an unexpected softness to the base that gives the composition its quiet, redemptive finish. Best worn in cooler weather, though commanding in any season.

It deepens and enriches the frankincense opening, adding a warm, slightly medicinal complexity that pulls the composition towards something more ancient and more intimate.
• Palo Santo — A sacred wood from South America whose fragrance has been used in spiritual ceremonies across many cultures as a tool for clearing, healing, and connection. Its clean, woody-citrus-slightly-minty character adds a quality of lightness and purification to the heart, preventing the composition from becoming too dense.
