THE FOUNDER
Saya McDermott
Saya® was founded by Australian-born Saya McDermott. After years of practising as a graphic designer, and later a commercial airline pilot, her interest became drawn to skincare. Determined to find a solution to her own problem skin, she began researching natural and organic ingredients, something she found was lacking within the Australian skincare market. She started to formulate and trial her own products within her family home. As her formulations began to work, she discovered what natural ingredients were capable of, and the benefits they offered the skin

They are COSMOS Organic Certified (ACO), the ingredients and products are held to an extremely high standard, ensuring traceability to the source and sustainable practices in every stage of the supply chain. They package our products within glass, recycled plastic or sugarcane-derived tubing. The entire range is also vegan and cruelty-free, and only ever tested on friends and family.
